McKenon Estrada, Assistant Baseball Coach |
Coach Estrada begins his second full season as an assistant baseball coach at RHSM. Estrada’s duties include all pitching and outfield instruction for both varsity and JV teams. Coach Estrada is also both teams base running instructor. Estrada began playing baseball at age four, and played all through junior high and high school. Estrada played third base and outfield for Murray High School. Coach Estrada attended Dixie State College, and this fall, will begin class work at Salt Lake Community College in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program. Estrada lists his passions as water sports, the outdoors, baseball, basketball, soccer, hip-hop, his dog Marley, the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns, and the New York Yankees. |

BEN VOEGELE
Head Boys' Baseball Coach

Originally from Boise, ID, Coach Voegele begins his fourth full season (seventh overall) as head coach of the RHSM baseball team. Having grown up overseas in Hong Kong and Taiwan, Voegele is a 1993 graduate of Taipei American School (TAS). As a senior, Voegele earned IASAS (Interscholastic Association of South East Asian Schools) All-Conference honors as a standout third baseman. That same year, Voegele captained his team (TAS) to the IASAS baseball championship, which was a first in school history. Voegele played college baseball at Brevard College (Brevard, NC) where he was a member of two Region X championship teams. Voegele is a 1999 graduate of Boise State University, and currently working on his MBA in Sports Management from Columbia Southern University. Voegele’s passions include the outdoors, his dog Guinness, and his beloved Chicago Cubs. Voegele is a teacher in the Granite School District. He also works
part time as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

Chad Camp, Assistant Baseball Coach

Chad Camp begins his second season as an assistant RHSM baseball coach. Coach Camp’s duties include overseeing all hitting and infield instruction of both varsity and JV teams. A life long baseball fan, Coach Camp brings years of experience in both playing and coaching. Coach Camp played high school baseball at Granger High School, and credits his dad for teaching him the love of the game. Coach Camp is married and has four kids. Camp is a Firefighter with the Salt Lake City Fire Department. Coach Camp loves to watch and play all sports, but baseball has always remained his favorite. |
