Shawn MacQueen
Boys' Basketball Head Coach
|
A native of Louisiana, Shawn received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Psychology from Utah State University. He is the head boy’s basketball coach and the head golf coach. He also teaches in the physical education department. Shawn and his wife Ivette are the parents of a son, Trey and a daughter, Maya. When he's not coaching or spending time with his family, Shawn enjoys his other two passions, cheering for his beloved LSU Tigers and playing golf.

Ron Potter
Assistant Boys' Basketball Coach |
Ron Potter is entering his second year as an assistant men's basketball coach. He brings with him a wealth of experience in coaching and a love of the game. This passion followed him into college as he worked three seasons as a student assistant with Southern Utah University men's program. During this time he gained a vast amount of knowledge about the aspects of basketball. He took the step up to high school last year and is excited to be coupled with the Winged Lions program again.
Ron graduated from SUU in 1999 with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. He currently works as computer programmer at the State of Utah's Department of Technology Services. While in college, he met and married his wife Amanda, who he lives with in Layton. They have four boys and a girl - Kobe(9), Carsen(8), Tyson(7), Logan(3) & Sydni(1). |
