
Four and Five
Our youngest campers experience all the sights, sounds and adventures camp has to offer in a safe and nurturing environment. In the morning their imagination runs wild in a variety of specialty classes and activities. A quick rest after lunch rejuvenates full-day campers and prepares them for the afternoon's activities.
AM Activities (9:30-11:30)
Our kindergarteners attend two specialty classes each morning. The classes that these campers participate in include:

Six and Seven
At Summerworks, 6 and 7 year-olds go, and go! They attend classes designed especially for their age and journey on field trips guaranteed to excite them.

PM Activities (1:00-3:00)
In the afternoon, campers journey off campus with sunscreen and water bottles in tow for field trips, a sports rotation and swimming, as well as expeditions to neighborhood parks and gardens. |
Eight to Twelve
The oldest campers face challenges and fun each morning in a wide array of specialty classes that hone leadership and teamwork skills and inspire creativity. They may also participate in an optional "Overnighter" at the YMCA Camp Roger and enjoy horseback riding, outdoor archery and commune with nature!

Our senior campers begin the day with enrichment classes which include:

PM Activities (1:00-3:00)
These campers head to either a field trip or walk across the street to Steiner Aquatic Center to swim in the afternoons. 8-12 year olds stay busy with field trips, swimming and twice weekly sports choice.

Students ages 13 to 15 can apply to the 8-week, full-time Counselor In Training Internship. Six to eight internships will be awarded. Counserlors In Training will serve as Jr. Counselors directly supervised by staff members.
Three CIT professional development / community service activities are included in the program. A letter of interest and two letters of recommendation are required by the February 5, 2008 deadline.
